The Fosters spinoff will end its run in 2024.
December 8, 2023
It is being reported that Freeform has cancelled Good Trouble after five seasons. The news comes midway through the drama's now-final season, which has been on hiatus since May with a return date set for January 2. Word is the advance notice of the cancellation will allow the show to produce a proper ending to wrap up the story.
Good Trouble premiered in 2019 as a spin-off of 'The Fosters,' which ended its five-season run the year before. The show follows Mariana and Callie as they begin a new stage of their lives as young adults living in downtown Los Angeles, California. Callie is a recent graduate of law school and must figure out how to navigate the legal system while working for a conservative judge. Mariana works in the male-dominated tech world, where she must forge her own path.

I wait for every new season this truly breaks my heart. They always cancel the good shows and now we are left with nothing but stupid reality shows. They just can't leave well enough alone. It's the show star all over again They get you loving something and then pull the rug right out from under your feet. They themselves should be canceled.
