The British spy drama nabs an early pickup.

Apple TV+ announced today that Slow Horses has been renewed for Season 5. The pickup is an early one, as the spy drama just wrapped its third season less than a week ago.
The series premiered in 2022 to a positive reception from both viewers and critics. Based on the 2010 novel of the same name by Mick Herron, it follows a group of British intelligence agents who have been exiled to Slough House, an administrative dumping ground department of MI5. Led by their brilliant but miserable leader Jackson Lamb, the employees navigate the espionage world's smoke and mirrors to defend England from sinister forces.
Season 2 followed later that same year, based on 'Dead Lions,' the second book in Herron's Slough House series. The current third season was adapted from 'Real Tigers,' while Season 4 will be based on 'Spook Street.' Word is that Season 5 will be based on 'London Rules,' the fifth book in the series.
