National Geographic has renewed its Disney+ original series A Real Bug's Life for a second season. The news comes just two weeks after the nature series debuted on the streaming service.

Inspired by the World of Disney and Pixar's "A Bug's Life" and narrated by Awkwafina, the show is an incredible adventure into different micro bug worlds around the world, where the forces of nature play out on a miniature scale and where tiny creatures rely on amazing powers and extraordinary alliances to make it through each day.

Season 2, expected this fall, will feature an all-new cast of insects including femme fatale firefly, bachelor luna moth, a real-life assassin bug, the botany bay weevil, and other incredible tiny heroes living on our planet. The five-episode season will continue to tell the tales of love, perseverance, and triumphs in their very own microworlds by using the latest camera technology, scientific revelation, and an incredible score.
