Netflix announced today that Avatar: The Last Airbender has been renewed for Seasons 2 & 3. The live-action reimagining of the 2005 animated series will return with two seasons to conclude the epic story as the four nations unite.

The pickup comes less than a month after the show premiered to strong viewership numbers, garnering over 41 million views in its first 11 days and ranking as the #1 English TV show. It has reached #1 in 76 countries and the top 10 in 92 countries.

In the series, the four nations of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air once lived in harmony, with the Avatar, master of all four elements, keeping peace between them. That was until the Fire Nation attacked and wiped out the Air Nomads. With the world losing hope, a young Air Nomad named Aang - the last of his kind - reawakens to take his rightful place as the next Avatar. Alongside his newfound friends, siblings and members of the Southern Water Tribe, Aang embarks on a fantastical quest to save the world and fight back against the fearsome onslaught of Fire Lord Ozai.
