CBS announced today that FBI has been renewed for Seasons 7, 8 and 9. The news, which arrives with six episodes remaining in the procedural drama's current sixth season, is part of a pickup that also brings back the other two entries in the franchise for an additional season each. The three-season renewal is the flagship drama's biggest to-date.

"The All-FBI Tuesday is a powerful force to be reckoned with on our primetime schedule," said CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach. "Dick Wolf and the talent in front of and behind the camera on all three series continue to deliver top-notch storytelling, riveting action and intrigue that has captivated a dedicated fanbase steadily across multiple seasons. We are excited to see what next season holds for all these heroic characters."

Since its premiere in 2018, the Dick Wolf series has become a bona fide hit for the network, ranking as one of its most-watched dramas. Its popularity has resulted in two spin-offs, 'FBI: Most Wanted' and 'FBI: International,' which will both be returning for Seasons 6 and 4 respectively in the 2024-2025 season.
