No Season 3 for the detective drama.

It is being reported that So Help Me Todd has been cancelled by CBS after two seasons. The news comes with four episodes remaining in the drama's now-final run, with its May 16 episode now set to serve as its series ender.
Creator Scott Prendergast took to Instagram following the news, expressing gratitude to everyone involved in making the show as well as all the viewers, calling it the best professional experience of his life. See his full post below.
The show has been garnering decent ratings so far this season, but it does rank as one of the lowest-watched dramas on the network. It appears today's cancellation was needed in order to make room on the schedule for one of its upcoming new dramas set for the 2024-2025 season.
So Help Me Todd follows a guy named Todd, who has always wanted to be a private detective. Now that he is, he's very good at it. When his lawyer mom offers him a job as an in-house investigator at her firm, he reluctantly agrees - as long as she promises to let him be who he wants to be.

Ugh I loved this show! The cast was incredible and had such good comedic chemistry together. Such a fun watch and different from the lame shows that have 5 spinoffs for different cities that are just the same storylines :(

I am so bummed! I just discovered this show and fell in love with it immediately. Perhaps the issue is not with the show, bit with the marketing and advertising

I LOVE this show - Fun and quirky are most of the comments - Agree completely !! Another network pick this show up or CBS change your mind !! This show is a refreshing change from all the other dramas because it is a much needed COMEDY !!

Unbelievable! This show is so good! From what I could tell, the ratings were pretty decent. I just don’t get it. I guess most people want reality filth?
