The drama extends its first season.

CBS announced today that So Help Me Todd has been picked up for a full season. The network has ordered a batch of additional episodes to extend the drama's run, though the exact count is not known.
The hour-long series premiered in late September and is off to a solid start. Through its first three episodes the show has averaged 6.48 million viewers, making it Thursday's top new series and the #3 new series on any network.
So Help Me Todd follows a guy named Todd, who has always wanted to be a private detective. Now that he is, he's very good at it. When his lawyer mom offers him a job as an in-house investigator at her firm, he reluctantly agrees - as long as she promises to let him be who he wants to be.

Sad that this show passes for quality on broadcast TV these days. In earlier days it would have been a so-so show to watch to pass the time when you had nothing better to do.

s'okay... still the standard "Murder She Wrote" formulaic "detective" show but with a lighthearted tone rather than the standard overly dramatic tone. It's a decent watch, but really last on a list. It's not like there's any compelling reason to "never miss an episode."
