Fox has announced that Special Forces: World's Toughest Test is coming back for a third season. The reality series wrapped its sophomore run last November. The pickup was confirmed by the network at its upfront presentation this week, where it announced its programming slate for the 2024-2025 television season.
In the show, a group of celebrities from various fields tackle a series of demanding training exercises led by an elite team of ex-special forces operatives. The only way for the recruits to leave is to decide to give up, through failure or potential injury, or by force from the Directing Staff. The recruits face the harshest of environments that simulate the highly classified selection process, pushing themselves in a way they have never been challenged before.

This is a true guilty pleasure. Take a bunch of B and C level celebrities and see if they can deal with the real world and not being pampered. Sometimes they surprise you, but too often not.

Season 2. Jojo Siwa did frickin awesome. Youngest recruit they ever had and she pushed herself more than anyone.

I rolled my eyes when I first saw this advertised, and didn't even watch the first season. However, there wasn't much else on when season 2 premiered, so I decided I might as well give it a go... but wasn't expecting much. However, I got hooked, and after watching season 2 to the finish, I had to go back and watch season 1, as well. It is a little different from most of these reality TV series'... no cash prizes, no big trophy... just the knowledge that they survived to the end is the reward.
