Prime Video has announced that The Legend of Vox Machina will be making its long-awaited return for Season 3 this fall. The streaming service has set a premiere date of October 3 for the first three episodes of the 12-episode season.

The animated series debuted in 2022 and has aired two 12-episode seasons that have garnered high praise from both critics and viewers alike. By the time the show returns for Season 3, it will be over a year-and-a-half since its sophomore run wrapped.

The series follows Vox Machina, a band of rowdy, ragtag misfits turned mercenaries-for-hire who are more interested in easy money and cheap ale than actually protecting the realm. When the kingdom is threatened by evil, this boisterous crew realizes that they are the only ones capable of restoring justice. Now, this once simple payday becomes the origin story behind Exandria's newest heroes.

In the upcoming third season, everything is at stake. The Chroma Conclave's path of destruction spreads like wildfire while the Cinder King hunts down Vox Machina. The lovable band of misfits must rise above inner (and outer) demons to try and save their loved ones, Tal'Dorei, and all of Exandria.
