No Season 3 for the sci-fi thriller.

Word is out that MGM+ has cancelled Beacon 23 after two seasons. The news comes three months after the sci-fi thriller wrapped its 8-episode sophomore run, with its episode on May 26 now serving as its series ender.
Based on the best-selling book by Hugh Howey, the show is set in the farthest reaches of the Milky Way, where the fates of a government agent, Aster, and a stoic ex-military man, Halan, become entangled after they find themselves trapped together inside one of many beacons that serve as a lighthouse for intergalactic travelers. Every beacon is run by one highly trained human and a specialized Artificial Intelligence. When Aster mysteriously finds her way to the lonely beacon-keeper Halan, a tense battle of wills begins. Halan questions whether Aster is friend or foe, as her ability to disguise her agenda and motives could make her a formidable opponent.

Ohhhh well, I watched both seasons. Not the best but not terrible either. That's problem today and why so many shows don't make it, nobody trusts these studios and does want to invest in a show that will be canceled so easily.

Never even heard of this show but not surprised. Just read the plot then think to yourself what's next how long can you drag a story line like this to be a show with multiple seasons on for years like some good shows.

Unsurprising, as a sci fi fan it was horrible and as a Game of Thrones fan you just cant unsee Cersei ever time she popped up on screen (which was a lot).

Well that sucks! This was a pretty unique show, and had a great cast. Why is it that all the shows that are just getting rolling always get cut before they get a proper chance???
