A sci-fi thriller following two people trapped inside a beacon that guides intergalactic travelers.

In the farthest reaches of the Milky Way, the fates of a government agent, Aster, and a stoic ex-military man, Halan, become entangled after they find themselves trapped together inside one of many beacons that serve as a lighthouse for intergalactic travelers.

Every beacon is run by one highly trained human and a specialized Artificial Intelligence. When Aster mysteriously finds her way to the lonely beacon-keeper Halan, a tense battle of wills begins. Halan questions whether Aster is friend or foe, as her ability to disguise her agenda and motives could make her a formidable opponent.

Based on the best-selling book by Hugh Howey.

This show is miles in front of ALL the "reality" shows especially "The Real Housewives of xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

I have 1 ep to go of season 2. I will watch it 2night, but I don't think I will come back for season 3 (if there is 1).

I find that this series has no continuous story line, it is too disjointed.

I am an ex-programmer and I don't trust AI, a bit like Atlas (Netflix).

I liked it. Quality, entertaining sci-fi show. I was happy when Prime picked up season 1, hoping they stream s2 also

Unbelievable. Literally. The guy playing a traumatized soldier can't act naturally like one. He just been stabbed by knife before, took a sleep, and without explanation he wakes up unscratched without pain as if nothing happened before. The AI characters are just over the top with their characters; more villainous and bitchier then humans.

intergalactic travelers - friend or foe -

Way out there, farfetched. I'll never discover on mgm.
Will settle for inexplicable right at home travelers.
