No Season 4 for the horror drama.
September 27, 2024
It is being reported that Chucky has been cancelled by USA Network and Syfy after three seasons. The news comes five months after the horror drama wrapped its now-final 8-episode run, which was released in two parts across 2023 and 2024.
"I'm heartbroken over the news that Chucky won't be coming back for a fourth season, but am so grateful for the killer three years we did have," said creator Don Mancini in a statement. "I'd like to thank UCP/SYFY/Peacock/Eat the Cat, our awesome cast and Toronto-based crew (the best in the business), and finally, to our amazing fans, a big bloody hug. Your incredible #RenewChucky campaign really warmed Chucky's cold heart. Chucky will return! He ALWAYS comes back."
Based on the eponymous killer doll from the 'Child's Play' film franchise, the series follows Jake, a 14-year-old budding artist who makes sculptures with doll parts in his idyllic American town. When he comes across the Chucky doll at a yard sale, he can't resist buying him. But his unsuspecting purchase gives Jake much more than he bargained for. Before long, the town is facing a series of horrific murders that expose the its deep hypocrisies and hidden secrets. At the same time, characters from Chucky's past return to his life and threaten to expose the truth behind his mysterious origins.

You pander to minorities and the alphabet mafia and that's what happens, there's being gay/homosexual and there's being a fa66ot and a fairy, so few writers can actually write gay people without simply being "flamboyant" to the point of making people vomit rainbows.

I'm not surprised. I loved the 1st season. Liked the 2nd just to see where Glen was, but the 3rd was terrible. The continual casting of Devon ran its course in season 2. I'm gay, and the series was way too gay for me. Like heyyy in your face gay. We get it Don,but stop throwing way too much gay into our beloved Chucky.

I've been waiting for this news, show was too gay and the writing was just awful honestly. Had too much comedy like Seed of Chucky and the tone that Don Mancini was setting was way off what Chucky used to be. It's his own fault that it's cancelled, shouldn't have went on for this long.

That sucks. The Chucky franchise had a couple of lean years but the last couple of movies and this series were great.
