At New York Comic Con today, AMC gave fans an update on the long-awaited second season of Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches. It has been nearly two years since the drama was renewed for Season 2, and we now know that the next chapter will premiere on January 5, 2025 on AMC and AMC+.

Based on Anne Rice's "Lives of the Mayfair Witches" novel trilogy, the series follows Dr. Rowan Fielding, a brilliant young neurosurgeon who discovers that she is the unlikely heiress to a dynasty of powerful witches. As she comes to terms with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations.

In the upcoming season, Rowan's journey continues after she has unwittingly given birth to the demon Lasher. She is determined to understand what he has become - human or monster? - and to use him to fulfill her purpose as a healer, but when tragedy strikes, she must put aside her own desires and fight to protect her family.
