FX announced today that American Horror Story has been renewed for a 14th season. The news comes with three episodes remaining in the current 13th season, which will air its finale on October 29. It has been over six years since the anthology series was last renewed; it received a 3-season pickup back in 2020.

The show helped pave the way for the modern-day limited series format, now ranking as the longest running hour-long series in FX's history. It has garnered over 100 Emmy nominations and 17 wins since its debut in 2011, including acting trophies for Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates and James Cromwell. The franchise has generated nearly 2 billion hours of engagement globally.
