Prime Video announced today that The Legend of Vox Machina has been renewed for a fourth season. The news comes ahead of tomorrow's Season 3 finale. The animated series debuted in 2022 and all three seasons to-date have garnered high praise from both critics and viewers alike.
"The fantastic team at Critical Role and Titmouse continues to deliver captivating seasons of The Legend of Vox Machina and we are excited for more to come," said Melissa Wolfe, head of animation, Amazon MGM Studios. "Our global Prime Video audience has embraced this series from the beginning and the fans, along with us, remain passionate about the characters and stories."
"We are beyond thrilled - and grateful - to continue the epic and wild adventures of Vex, Vax, Keyleth, Percy, Pike, Grog and everyone's favorite character - Scanlan," said executive producer Sam Riegel. "With each season, this show levels up, and we already have big plans to level up both our heroes and villains in Season Four."
The series follows Vox Machina, a band of rowdy, ragtag misfits turned mercenaries-for-hire who are more interested in easy money and cheap ale than actually protecting the realm. When the kingdom is threatened by evil, this boisterous crew realizes that they are the only ones capable of restoring justice. Now, this once simple payday becomes the origin story behind Exandria's newest heroes.
