The Reba McEntire comedy extends its freshman run.

NBC announced today that five additional episodes have been ordered for the first season of Happy's Place, bringing its total to 18. The move comes five weeks after the comedy premiered with solid ratings that improved the network's Friday 8pm timeslot by +90% among total viewers and +88% in the 18-49 demographic.
The half-hour series stars Reba McEntire as Bobbie, a woman who unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant only to learn that she now has a new business partner in the twentysomething half-sister she never knew she had.

I love Reba so much, but this show stinks. It's not funny at all. All the actors don't jell. I don't like the sister. She is annoying! The other cast members don't belong. I'm about to delete it from my prioritizer! Please don't give this show any more episodes!

I enjoy Reba and Melissa, but I'm three episodes in and not sure if I can continue. The sister is awful and the setting is somewhat odd - maybe it's the set or the fact that it would've been better as a restaurant. Whatever the case, I don't think I'll be going the distance with this show.

I agree with others in this post that the sister makes this show unwatchable for me. I would gladly watch if she was removed but until then it is not a comedy worth watching. FYI - I love Reba!

PLEASEEEEEEEE get the sister (Isabella) off the show! She does t fit in and the show would be great otherwise! Bring on Steve Howey as a goofball and we got ourselves a cheers 2.0!!!

I love Reba and think this show could be really good but her sister competely ruins it and makes it unwatchable. Get rid of her and I will happily return to watch but until then it is a hard pass for me. I don't quite remember when one character completely F'd up a show this bad before.

Get the sister off next season and MAYBE it will have a chance. But the sister has NO place on this show.

I like this show except for the newly discovered sister character. I think the show would’ve been fine without that character. She isn’t likable at all. I don’t know that I can continue watching it honestly.

We enjoy this show. No violence, we’re enjoying getting to know the characters. I hope the half sister tones down some; she can be awfully irritating.

I really tried to like this show, but the sisters attitude just turned me off. I turned the channel on episode three.
