No Season 3 for the Chuck Lorre comedy.

It is being reported that Max has cancelled Bookie after two seasons. The news comes less than three weeks after the comedy wrapped its 8-episode sophomore run on the streaming service.
Created by Chuck Lorre and Nick Bakay, the half-hour series follows Danny, a veteran Los Angeles bookie who is dealing with the potential legalization of sports gambling in California, which could completely upend his business. Alongside best friend and former NFL player Ray, side-hustling sister Lorraine, and reformed drug dealer Hector, Danny must manage his increasingly unstable clients as he tries to settle their debts - all while making a number of risky bets of his own.

I just binge-watched both seasons and I'm so disappointed it's not continuing for a third season. There are not many good comedy shows out there anymore.

One of the funniest shows on TV. Incredibly clever and well written. Extremely disappointed it was cancelled.

Honestly not that surprised. I could never get into the show, mainly because Sebastian Maniscalo is just so dull and uninteresting as an actor. Huge miss on that casting.
