No Season 3 for the comedic thriller.

It is being reported by Variety that Based on a True Story has been cancelled by Peacock after two seasons. The news comes five months after the comedic thriller released its sophomore run on the streaming service.
A satire of the true crime genre with elements that are loosely inspired by true events, the series follows Nathan and Ava, a married couple struggling to stay afloat in their lives. As a serial killer starts to make headlines in Los Angeles, they team up with a plumber to seize a unique opportunity to capitalize on everyone's obsession with true crime.

Not surprising, Cuoco has picked one successful show. Big Bang Theory everything else got cancelled quickly.

Everytime you find a show anymore it just gets stopped. Yet all these reality shows and procedural live for decades. It us ridiculous.
