The Denis Leary comedy will return for a second season.

Fox announced today that Going Dutch has been renewed for Season 2. The news comes two months after the comedy wrapped its 10-episode freshman run. Fellow Thursday night comedy 'Animal Control' was also picked up today.
"Animal Control and Going Dutch are proven winners thanks to signature FOX characters brought to life by Joel and Denis -- two of the funniest comedic voices on TV today, giving us an ideal foundation for building our new comedy block," said Michael Thorn, President, FOX Television Network. "With a focus on creating irreverent, fun workplace humor that's both outrageous and unpredictable, Joel, Denis, their castmates and production teams deliver reliably laugh-out-loud moments week-after-week that will keep fans coming back season-after-season."
The half-hour series stars Denis Leary as Patrick Quinn, an arrogant U.S. Army Colonel who has been reassigned to the Netherlands because of an unfiltered rant. After serving with distinction in every warzone over the last three decades, he now finds himself being punished with a command position at the least important army base in the world. Surrounded by a group of military misfits, the colonel is now trying his best to reinstate discipline and professionalism with the help of the base's previous interim leader, his estranged daughter.
