No Season 4 for the rebooted sitcom.

It is being reported by Deadline that NBC has cancelled Night Court after three seasons. The news comes just days after the comedy wrapped its now-final run, which at 18 episodes was its longest to-date.
A follow-up to the 1984 sitcom of the same name, Night Court follows Abby Stone, the daughter of the late Harry Stone. An eternal optimist, she is following in her father's footsteps by presiding over the night shift of a Manhattan arraignment court. Judge Stone spends her nights trying to bring order to the court's crew of oddballs and cynics, most notably former night court prosecutor Dan Fielding.

They did a good job but at the end of the day it never really lived up to the original. Probably because the original contained themes that our society has deemed no longer funny.

Mixed support on this one.
I love references to judge harry stone, but don't need to keep seeing dogs playing poker.
This show did good with: first and formoth: the larroquette. Then the Malik anderman, the thin guy from whose line, and the wheelers.
But it tanked itself by using squeeky voice as a meandering court judge. The rest of the supporting cast (sweater/welldressed guy, and anddamn near cool as roz) got hamperrred by YET ANOTHER SITUATIONAL COMEDY.
how to save it? More cast. less whining on predictable things
It was awesome. Cool to hang out.
Doomed to fail because : situation comedy + laughtrack+ great cast with lower than average srcipt.

This show was great and I'm very disappointed for it to be cancelled after a cliffhanger. Very classy, NBC! <Eye roll>

I used to watch the original Night Count and I thought it was great seeing the actors from that show. Also seeing actors from the Big Bang Theory which was funny as hell.
