ABC announced today that Shark Tank has been picked up for a 17th season; the news coming a week before its season finale. This fall, entrepreneurs will once again have the opportunity to pitch their products in front of the panel of investors with hopes of taking their business to the next level.

The veteran unscripted series has been a reliable performer for the network over the years, with the ability to draw viewers in just about any time slot. Currently airing on Friday nights, the show routinely bests its competition.

Mark Cuban will no longer be with show in Season 17, as he has already stated that the current season of Shark Tank will be his last. Cuban has been with the show for the last 14 years, starting out as a guest in Season 2 before becoming a regular in Season 3.
