It is being reported that Extracted has been renewed by Fox for Season 2. The news comes three weeks after the competition series crowned its first winner. Per the network, the show's February premiere ranked as the top-rated unscripted broadcast television debut in nearly a year.
In the show, 12 untrained competitors attempt to survive grueling conditions, dangerous terrain, and the threat of fearsome predators in the unforgiving Canadian wilderness. Miles away, their family members are in a secluded headquarters watching them navigate their surroundings alone via a 24/7 live feed. Each amateur survivalist's family has the power to decide whether their loved one has what it takes to brave the elements and fight to be the last one standing, or whether the family will push the "Extract" button and remove their loved one from the competition, taking away their shot at the $250,000 prize.

.. just don't see how the 1 guy that got NO SUPPLIES for weeks.. didn't win.....
Decent concept, but just bad execution. Basically, last until the end.. then it's a lucky toss up as to who'll win.. Doesn't seen correct.

Great idea, DEI executed.
Can't have strong men in the lead for 10 straight weeks, then not only give advantages to those loosing, but also take away all advantages the leaders earned away.

Great more fake game shows and stagged reality tv, just what no asked for. Do these companies just not do exit polls etc?
