Fox announced today that Extracted has been renewed for a third season. The news comes one month after the competition series wrapped its sophomore run. Like the first two seasons, Season 3 will air as a midseason entry during the 2026-2027 television season.

In the show, 12 untrained competitors attempt to survive grueling conditions, dangerous terrain, and the threat of fearsome predators in the unforgiving Canadian wilderness. Miles away, their family members are in a secluded headquarters watching them navigate their surroundings alone via a 24/7 live feed. Each amateur survivalist's family has the power to decide whether their loved one has what it takes to brave the elements and fight to be the last one standing, or whether the family will push the "Extract" button and remove their loved one from the competition, taking away their shot at the $250,000 prize.
