The crime drama will return for Season 2.
May 12, 2025
NBC announced today that The Hunting Party has been renewed for a second season. The news came as the network announced its schedule for this coming fall.
The crime drama, which wrapped its 10-episode freshman run last month, will be moving from Mondays to Thursdays at 10:00pm. NBC also indicated that Season 2 is a full season order, which should increase the episode count to at least 18.
The series follows a small team of elite investigators who are tasked with hunting down and capturing some of the most dangerous killers America has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that is not supposed to exist.

I enjoyed season 1! It's not so formulaic, like a lot of crime dramas. The concept has left the door open to a bigger story arc, which is good. And the cast is excellent!

Pretty good show... I think it has a pretty good formula that could keep it going for a while. Sort of like The Blacklist but missing that central character like Reddington that made it so good.
I'll keep watching.

The overall concept was good, the first couple of episodes were predictable, but it has a certain Blacklist vibe with the side stories. I ended up really liking it, hope it continues on the same path and doesn't get too crazy.
