No Season 3 for the crime drama.

It is being reported that NBC has cancelled The Hunting Party after two seasons. The crime drama was the last of the network's current scripted series to find out its fate.
The news does not come as a complete surprise, as the show was left off of NBC's schedule for the 2026-2027 season last month. Word is that producer Universal Television is looking to find it a new home, but the likelihood of that happening is unclear.
The series follows a small team of elite investigators who are tasked with hunting down and capturing some of the most dangerous killers America has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that is not supposed to exist.

WHAT??? That was a great show. Reality TV sucks & will not be watched here! We have a group that watched it together. No one is going to be happy to find this out!

This is truly a bad decision. This show was interesting and kept the story lines fresh. Excellent character chemistry and really hope this is revere or a streaming service picks this up. I hate how the networks only want to keep lousy reality, not really reality, TV shows.

The networks are too fickle and quick to cancel. Seinfeld had bad ratings for the first couple of years. This had a good theme, good acting, and good writing. Too bad it was given only two seasons. Now they will bring in some stupid game show or reality show which nobody will watch.

Rule 1: The customer is always right. I guess they forgot Rule 1. There are so many other venues to watch as the days of the 'Big 3' networks are long gone. This week, on a S. Korean slapstick drama binge complete with many styles of background music, and 'Teach You a Lesson' - Man to Man series' where one does not have to know the names of the actors to like them. Next week - on to whatever/wherever. The choices are endless at this point, and some of these choices do not involve the reading of endless medication, side effects. Happy viewing!

It had some ok moments, but I stopped watching because I thought it was going to be cancelled. Boom!

This is why I very rarely start a new show unless it is a limited series or I know has concluded. This has been done so many times and it’s recently then just increasing yearly. Then all the networks and streaming channels will put out a bunch more shows and see what sticks in the cycle continues. Maybe there’s less and less of an audience because of this. Idk

This is a great show and looked forward to watching the psycho villain of the week. I really hope another streaming service picks this up. I enjoyed watching this show and liked it. Sorry to see it go. Maybe like others here have said another network will pick it up.

NBC must be taking cues from CBS...cancel the good shows and keep reality crap on....Hunting Party is a great show and hopefully another network will pick it up...

This is why I dislike watching new shows! Ugh!! I hope it gets picked up elsewhere! It ended with such a cliffhanger! You cannot end this show for your audience like that. It’s sad everyone cares more about money instead of the fans.
