Prime Video announced today that Invincible has been renewed for a fifth season. The renewal is another early one, as Season 4 isn't slated to return until 2026. Today's news was accompanied by a video released by the streamer showing the cast at work and confirming that voice recording for Season 5 is complete.

The show's third season ranks as Prime Video's most watched animation season of all time, marking the biggest returning season of all time across all its adult animation originals. The third season was also nominated for the Critics' Choice Award for Best Animated Series in 2025 as well as consecutive Primetime Emmy Award nominations in 2024 and 2025.

Based on the comic book from Robert Kirkman, Invincible follows 17-year-old Mark Grayson, who is pretty much like most guys his age with one exception - his father is Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on Earth. With Mark now developing his own powers, he starts realizing that his dad's legacy may not be as heroic as he thought. Everything changes as Mark is forced to face his past, and his future, while discovering how much further he'll need to go to protect the people he loves.
