The 'Sex and the City' sequel will not return.

HBO Max announced today that And Just Like That is coming to an end after its current third season. That means only two episodes remain in the dramedy's run, with its August 14 episode now set to be its series ender.
"And just like that... the ongoing storytelling of the Sex And The City universe is coming to an end," said showrunner Michael Patrick King in a statement. "While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That... season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop. Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12. SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn't want the word 'final' to overshadow the fun of watching the season. It's with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years."
Initially billed as a limited series, the 'Sex and the City' sequel turned into a regular series thanks to its popularity. The show catches up with Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte as they continue to navigate the complicated journey of love, life, and friendship in their 50s.

Thanks for the support!!
"woke" is a term with a complex and evolving meaning, deeply rooted in social justice movements, but now also deeply embedded in political and cultural debates. It's associated with empathy, compassion, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). No one is stating it is a bad thing - it is what it is.
Fans of the original SATC series didn't like the new writing/storylines, plain and simple. The storylines were not what fans were used to...it wasn't what fans expected and they stopped watching (Ratings tanked seasons 2 and 3).The show stopped filming because of this. Many of the reviews over the past 2 years clearly mention this. I didn't write those reviews, although I agreed with many of them.
The issue I have with you is the name calling/labeling - You throw the term "Racist" out there very easily...not even knowing who you are name calling. You did it intentionally to hate and hurt. Far different than me stating that this TV Series with Woke storylines didn't work. Sadly this is what people like you do these days.... why? to prove a point? To be Mean? I don't know you, I don't know your intentions...what I do know is that I wouldn't want to be your friend. You are a mean bully.
If you’d have written your reasons at first no one would "call you out." But let’s be honest, we can all read the original post, you used a code and your gonna get called on it.
Go see a doctor ok
Before attacking peoples comments, maybe you should ask yourselves why no one was watching? If you can not see that the writing was different from the original series, then you are just in denial. It is a different show, true, but people watching it wanted Sex and the City to live on... Viewers got something completely different and were disappointed and lost interest. The new storylines were not clever (not how they used to be). Writing was horrible.
My opinion holds true though... they should have never killed of Big and when they did, their biggest mistake was in season 2 - having Carrie invalidate their relationship, a relationship that we all watched and rooted for for 6 seasons. This stabbed all fans in the heart. Many fans gave up on the show that very moment.
Plain and simple, There was no Samantha and no Big. Yea...Chris Noth got canceled. (I am not defending him nor am I supporting the decision for them booting him... because there is NO WAY for me to know the truth of what happened), but their absence, and the lack of good, clever writing, left a huge hole in what viewers were looking for.
The show got canceled for low ratings and mehh storylines.
you have series brainwashing if you can't recognize that "The series took WOKE to a whole new level..." is code for "They had other types of people on the show" (aka racism). Now saying a show is woke and backing up with examples is different. Why did cheri not have examples to give? would they [prove the show wasn't "woke" and that cheri was overexaggerating?
Don't get mad at the person for calling it out, get mad at the person being called out. If your unwilling to back up your comments with examples...don't make them.
To let some one be a racist on a website for TV shows is sad.
Please examine your brainwashing before letting someone be a racist. its a terrible thing.
