Apple TV+ announced today that Tehran has been renewed for a fourth season. The news comes alongside the announcement of a premiere date for Season 3, which we now know will premiere in January after a wait of over three years.
Produced in Israel, the show premiered in 2020 as the first non-English original on the streaming service. The story follows Mossad computer hacker Tamar Rabinyan, who infiltrates Tehran under a false identity. Her task is to disable an Iranian nuclear reactor, but when the mission fails, Tamar goes rogue in Tehran as she reconnects with her Iranian roots and becomes romantically entwined with a pro-democracy activist. Reeling from the loss of her closest allies, Season 3 finds Tamar seeking a way to reinvent herself and win back the Mossad's support if she is to survive.
Production on Season 4 of Tehran is now underway.

Ahed in the war. The evil mullahs spent all the money on weapons. The water went to nuclear terror programs the country was beat up by Israel. It lost most of its leaders . Most of its missiles. Sure it rebuilt those but it also executed lots of people . Season four should reflect these disasters . Or season three.
