No Season 2 for the spin-off series.
December 19, 2025
Word is out that NCIS: Tony & Ziva has been cancelled by Paramount+ after just one season. The news comes two months after the spin-off series wrapped its 10-episode freshman run on the streaming service.
"We feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to play these characters once again and to tell the next chapter of Tony and Ziva's story," said stars Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo in a joint statement. "Our deepest thanks go to our extraordinary cast, crew, writers, directors, and producers, and to our partners at CBS Studios and Paramount+ who helped make this dream a reality. But most of all, we want to thank the fans around the world who joined us on this adventure and finally got to see Tony and Ziva find their happily ever after."
The sixth spin-off in the NCIS franchise, NCIS: Tony & Ziva is set following the events of NCIS, with Tony and Ziva raising their daughter together. When Tony's security company is attacked, they are forced to go on the run across Europe while trying to figure out who is after them - and possibly learn to trust each other again.

I Think that they pulled the trigger too fast on that show.
We saw a few series getting a season after mixt reviews from season one. The chemistry between two main characters is undeniable and always been there. Therefore i think thay they should have get another chance to do better in a season 2

The return of Tony and Ziva was something that I have so been wanting to see. Their chemistry is wonderful on screen! And even though I enjoyed this version of their return, I don’t think it was the best story line they could have come up with to show case them in a spin off series. It needed a different vision and definitely better writers. I am however sad to see it end. Was hoping the 2nd season would be more impressive!

I guess having only two gay couples in the show wasn't woke enough for Brenda.

@Brenda Anderson - As usual you forgot the reread your post to see if it made any sense whatsoever and didn't make you sound foolish. Count to 10 and then hit submit!

I wonder why we didn't get Bishop, since her whole reason for leaving NCIS was to help Ziva with some investigation.

I can't say a Tony & Ziva show was ever something I needed to see, but once it was made I found it reasonably entertaining. It was a slow start, but it did build to a good conclusion. The European locales were a plus.
That said, I can't see any need for more seasons. They ended it in a good place. They also get points for not sinking into stunt casting by having guest appearances from the old NCIS crowd. If the show had gone on, you have to think that would have happened sooner or later.

My 2 cents. Never was a fan of Ziva. I was heartbroken when they killed off Kate. Now she and Tony had the chemistry. Just never liked Ziva’s character and cold personality. Was not sad to see her go and it got confusing bringing her back after so many years with Bishop looking into her reappearance. Anyway, took me a while to actually watch the new show. Still love Tony but he was not the Tony we all knew on NCIS. Ziva had a far better personality but still there was no chemistry so not sure why they ended the season on them getting back together. Enjoyed the other characters. Great actresses, well except for Piper whatever her name is. Flashbacks were too much. Several shows taking place overseas yet many do not work out. Such a shame since it’s nice to see the beautiful cities they film in.

CBS and Paramount are circling the drain now. Only a matter of time.
