HBO Max announced today that Hacks will be coming to an end after its fifth season, which is set to premiere on April 9. The 10-episode final season will debut new episodes weekly, with two new episodes on April 30 and May 7, leading up to the series finale on May 28.
The half-hour series stars Jean Smart as Deborah Vance, a legendary Las Vegas comedian who becomes an unlikely mentor to an entitled, outcast 25-year-old after realizing they have more in common than she first thought. In Season 5, Deborah and Ava return to Las Vegas after mistaken and unflattering news reports that Deborah has passed away, determined to secure Deborah's legacy as a comedian.

Such a great show. Sad it's ending but it will be going out on a high note I'm sure.
