No Season 3 for the medical drama.

It is being reported that NBC has cancelled Brilliant Minds after two seasons. The news isn't really a surprise, as it was the network's lowest rated linear drama. The writing appeared to be on the wall when NBC pulled the medical drama from its schedule back in February, opting to air 2-hour episodes of 'The Voice' instead.
Inspired by the extraordinary life and work of world-famous author and physician Oliver Sacks, the series stars Zachary Quinto as Oliver Wolf, a revolutionary neurologist who, with his team of interns, explores the last great frontier - the human mind - while dealing with their own relationships and mental health.
The show does still have six episodes remaining in its now-final run. Those will begin airing on May 27.

Jimmy…..obviously that’s not correct…..because it lasted 2 seasons. Not all shows have to last 40 seasons.

I agree with Lauren - how anyone can follow a series when it’s jerked around by the Network is impossible. This was a smart, intelligent show, but seems NBC think their viewers are too stupid to understand it. Same happened with the Jesse Martin show.

Watched the first few and knew it was never going to work. It was just bad and stupid.

Finally!! I am so happy to hear this. This show had the most erratic showing schedule I have ever seen, first they started S2 in September, then stop December 1st for the xmas holiday season. They come back January 5th, show 4 episodes then stop on February 2nd for the 2026 Olympics that was on NBC. Then they just never came back. No notices or anything telling us anything about this show. No wonder why shows on NBC get cancelled so easily, never have a normal schedule and act like everyone watches it religiously as if nothing happened. The NBC executives have the surprised Pikachu face when the ratings are in the toilet and flushing down even deeper!!
