No Season 2 for the cheerleading comedy.
May 1, 2026
It is being reported that NBC has cancelled Stumble after just one season. The news comes less than two months after the comedy wrapped its 13-episode freshman run. Though it was well-liked by both viewers and critics, the show ultimately struggled to find a sizeable audience.
Shot in a mockumentary style, the series followed a successful junior college cheer coach who was fired after a video surfaced of her partying with her team. Now she is forced to start fresh with a new team at an unknown school in a small town, with her focus on taking her new ragtag squad of misfits to nationals and beyond.

What a shame. This was a great show but NBC treated it like dirt with irregular scheduling. Perfectly cast with just the right amount of absurdities. I will miss it.

@NPC
Tell me it was to advanced for you without saying it.
You "Mayor Maynot" get the jokes, but anybody should recognizes they were trying some new stuff.

If you thought this show was "funny" you have very, very, very, very low expectations.

Surely these networks are taking the piss, bruv? This show was pure dead brilliant, all the birds were lush and the gags were side-splitting. I'm proper fed up with it, mate.

I’m very disappointed. I really enjoyed this show. Plus they had a great cliffhanger and was looking forward to Katey Sagal being added to the cast for season 2. The show was original, funny and had potential for a good run. Hopefully enough people will voice their opinion to get the execs to changed their mind

Show would have been a massive hit if it were solely a streamer and not on network.

This show was clever, funny and original. I don’t understand why got canceled so soon. DMV was another good sitcom that got canceled way too soon. But they leave on shows like “ Going Dutch” & “Animal control” which are both terrible.

What a shame. I thought the show was super enjoyable and found the lead actress delightful. Network comedy is almost always a miss nowadays, but I loved this show.

I was going to binge watch if renewed, I just had too much TV to watch during the original run. I guess I will not get a chance, bummer.
