No Season 2 for the cheerleading comedy.
May 1, 2026
It is being reported that NBC has cancelled Stumble after just one season. The news comes less than two months after the comedy wrapped its 13-episode freshman run. Though it was well-liked by both viewers and critics, the show ultimately struggled to find a sizeable audience.
Shot in a mockumentary style, the series followed a successful junior college cheer coach who was fired after a video surfaced of her partying with her team. Now she is forced to start fresh with a new team at an unknown school in a small town, with her focus on taking her new ragtag squad of misfits to nationals and beyond.

Love this show. I’ll be talking about this tomorrow night on our podcast. Love the head actress. She was hot on paws too. Great actress and gorgeous so she’ll be ok. I’ll watch anything she does next!

Was an entertaining show, will miss it.
TV needs more scripted and less "reality" shows.

Not surprising.. there was no "hook" and VERY little humor. Most of the ACTUALLY entertaining bits were the cheerleaders.. the homeless girl.. the criminal... NOT the "squeaky voice" girl that was stupid. The rest of the cast simply was NOT funny or very interesting. It could have been better, but in today's social climate I think they were afraid to "push the boundaries" a great deal... I mean the hugely fat cheerleader had years of punchlines behind it.. but nope....

Jimmy and Chris……know nothing about TV. Say the same stupid comments on each show.

A really funny show - but then the “heads” at NBC decide to cancel❗️I really enjoyed this and it seems a lot of others did too!

No shock here. I know it was kind of wacky, but I also knew it had no chance.

I was just talking about this show today! It was a lot of fun. And what show finds a good audience on Friday night?

It was only a matter of time.

Well this is just bull garbage. This just proves that the folks at nbc have no idea what makes good tv. This show was funny, fresh, and not only had a good plot but also had room to grow. As the article said, critics and viewers lived it, but nbc canceled anyway. Makes no sense whatsoever. This is probably why I don't watch nbc- there's nothing good on it. Great job morons.
