The CW announced today that Scrabble has been renewed for a third season. The game show is still in the middle of Season 2, with more episodes in the current season slated to return on October 1. Fellow game show 'Trivial Pursuit' was also picked up for a third season today.

Hosted by Craig Ferguson, Scrabble is a fast-paced take on the global board game phenomenon, where contestants battle it out by playing a series of word-based games to win points and add words to a giant Scrabble board in the center of the set.
