The CW announced today that Trivial Pursuit has been renewed for a third season. The game show is still in the middle of Season 2, with more episodes in the current season slated to return on October 1. Fellow game show 'Scrabble' was also picked up for a third season today.

Hosted by LeVar Burton, the series reimagines the classic Trivial Pursuit board game in a question-packed entertainment format. Contestants battle it out on a giant version of the game board, taking on a range of play-along question categories to win wedges and beat each other to the center. The winner then takes on a dramatic finale against the clock to claim the big money jackpot.
