I honestly do not know why people have to bring politics into everything. Even a show like SWAT that for me is all about 42min of entertainment and i am not planning to or entertaining any "message" that comes with the show. I think i can consider myself right leaning politically, but that does not mean i come in and "woke this and woke that" at every single life event that happens on a show (like this)....
Please just enjoy the show and if you dont like it... dont watch... simple as that...

First: Martin is a moron (THEY gave nouns a job and made THEM pros, as in professionals) or a troll but either way a racist afraid of others. Nobody should feel bad about dunking on THEM.

The original show ended because it focused on law enforcement and not on how they should act. People are tired of alt-right hatred and the enforcement agents supporting it. Look at something like grey's autotomy of Law and Order. The more "woke" they go the better they do. Look at stuff like On-patrol live, the more it follows cops the lower tier its outlet becomes. Soon its just gonna be on gas station TVs.

The biggest sign a show is going to fail is 1. THEY give it a second season before a single frame airs. Proof that THEY have no faith that people will watch it and are trying to give it false buzz. 2. it is leans alt-right.

Winston Could not have been said better. Put on a good show leave all the preaching out. Why turn off half the people on either side against what you want them to watch. Really not smart. Jasmine is right about one thing Boston Blue SUCKS.

The original show started off fine, but as time went on it became a lot more about messaging than about a SWAT Team. The action parts were still interesting and well done, the messaging kept taking more time and becoming more heavy-handed.

It's supposed to be entertainment. Pounding people with The Message over and over becomes tedious. People don't like being preached to. Especially after a long day when they are just trying to watch a fun show.

What will this show be? Who knows. But if it picks up where the original left off with the messaging, then this will be a very short lived series.

1. No one who uses the word "woke" as an adjective should ever criticize someone else's grammar.
2. I wish more people could differentiate between "it's a bad show" and "I don't like it." SWAT clearly had an audience for 8 seasons. that means it outlasted critical darlings like Succession, Ozark and The Crown.
3. I enjoyed SWAT as pure action entertainment, not a morality play, although it probably DID change the minds of a few cop-haters. I'll give the spin-off a try.

That is why SWAT went down hill and most normal people stop watching it. Only the forever offended will like it might even get some to crack a brief vegan smile
