S.W.A.T. Exiles has been renewed for a second season. The news, announced on Instagram by star Shemar Moore, comes over a month before the spinoff premieres on Starz.
"I got such great news," said Moore in the video post. "S.W.A.T. Exiles just got picked up for season two, baby. That's right. We start shooting in a couple of months."
The new series follows Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson, who is pulled out of forced retirement to lead a last-chance experimental S.W.A.T. unit made up of untested, unpredictable young recruits. Hondo must bridge a generational divide, navigate clashing personalities and turn a squad of outsiders into a team capable of protecting the city - and saving the program that made him who he is.

I liked SWAT. This show will either be good or will suck. I am going to watch 1 or 2 episodes before I decide. I loved Blue Bloods. Boston Blue sucks!

How renew a series before the first show even airs? There is a reason SWAT was axed twice in the past. It was not a good show.
