Dr. Gregory House is an infectious disease specialist with no bedside manner, who trusts neither his colleagues nor his patients. And it's this unique, yet brilliant, diagnostician on whom this medical drama is centered on. His near perfect instincts and unconventional thinking have afforded him a great deal of respect in the medical community.
While his behavior can border on antisocial, House is a maverick physician who loves the challenges of the medical puzzles he must solve in order to save lives. He must also deal with his own constant physical pain, using a cane that is by his side at all times which punctuates his sometimes harsh demeanor.

I loved this show. Even as crazy as it got. Hugh Laurie created an incredible character and all of the various incarnations of the supporting cast did terrific work. I have to admit, though, that after about six seasons, the prospect of learning about yet another godawful disease that may or may not be related to Lupus, and which can only be cured by one very self-absorbed asshat of a doctor, started to wear a little thin. It could turn the sanest of us into jittery hypochondriacs.

so miss this show.. The dry wit relief was real life comparison making. Loved the different scenarios that House had to muddle his way thru.. sad to see it go.
