A science fiction drama following an inter-agency task force of the FBI as they use unorthodox techniques to investigate a series of unexplained phenomenon occurring all over the world.
The Fringe Division team is based in Boston, Massachusetts and operate under the supervision of Homeland Security. FBI agent Olivia Dunham and Peter Bishop are faced with a rapidly spreading unexplained occurrences that could threaten mankind. In an attempt to stop the spread, they enlist the assistance of Peter's estranged father, an institutionalized scientist.
When their investigation leads to multi-billion dollar corporation Massive Dynamic, they will discover that there is more behind these occurrences that is part of a larger, shocking truth.

Used to love watching this show. As soon as the plot of the alternate universe was found, the program started going downhill. It did the same thing as X-Files. Great show at the beginning and then got stuck on the alien conspiracy plot. Go back to the unexplained phenomenon. I was interested to see what strange story would be solved. I now DVR it so I can skip the storys that are unimaginative.

I think FOX should realize not everyone "likes" Idol it's boring and out dated "Oh look at me I can sing" WHO CARES!! get it together FOX and stop canceling good show.. By the way I love LOVE.... l...o...v...e Fringe.. Watching it now :)

Honestly I love this show, it's truly one of my favorites! It seems the show is getting back to it's roots where they run across some odd, sci-fi occurence that Peter, Olivia, Walter, and Astrid have to get to the bottom of and they're finally steering away from the whole "two universe mayhem". I enjoyed the format of the first season of this show the most.

This is really one of THE best shows on TV. There are far too many crappy (faux) "reality" shows for brainless blobs who don't want to think.....PLEASE keep this show going for at least another season; for those of us with a brain.

Honestly, this season was a dog, but I'm not willing to give up on the show. I hope the next season gives us less "human interest" and romance-type stuff and more excitement and suspense. There are so many story lines that the writers have seeded into the plot but have not yet capitalized on. How about a war between the universes? What about the Peter-machine?
