A science fiction drama that chronicles the arrival of a technologically advanced alien species on Earth which ostensibly comes in peace, but in reality has sinister motives.

The 2009 TV series of "V" is a re-imagining of the 1983 miniseries created by Kenneth Johnson.

Giant spaceships start to appear over dozens of major cities around the world. The extra-terrestrial "Visitors" claim that they come in peace and only need a small amount of Earth's resources, in exchange for which they will share their advanced technological and medical knowledge. When certain humans start to doubt their sincerity, an FBI counter-terrorism agent discovers that the aliens have spent decades infiltrating human governments, businesses, and religious institutions, and are now in the final stages of their plan to take over the Earth.

I totally agree with Krazykat. I guess I will just stick to the history channel and DVD's.

WTF?? This show was AWESOME! Hopefully the SyFy network or some other network picks this up. I can't believe how they left the season. At the very least give your fans some closure. Search for "Project Alice" to bring this show back. There is an official project started to get this show aired on another network for Season 3.

I'd like to know how they determine what a show's ratings are. I mean, I've never been asked what my thoughts are on a show...

How is it that "V" is canceled and yet ABC decided to keep "Lost" on the air? That show was pure garbage and made no sense.

The Idiots who decide what goes and what stays are way out of touch with what audiences really want. PVR's are making a mess of how shows are rated as most people do not watch TV shows WHEN they air anymore, but do so on their own time table. Somehow these idiots have to take the new viewing patterns into account.

ABC doesn't do a very good job of deciding which shows are good and which are not. This was a good show. It had tons of promise. I guess it's back to more stupid sitcoms and reality for ABC. I won't be watching.
