A procedural drama following a Chicago detective who leaves his hometown and moves to Florida.
Jim Longworth is Chicago detective who was falsely accused of sleeping with his captains wife. Because of this, he takes a new job in South Florida with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement - hoping to find a more relaxing lifestyle. He soon discovers that things are more complicated than he thought.

I watched the Glades from the very first and I really enjoyed this series. All the characters were very entertaining. I really hate that you cancelled the show like you did after showing what happened on the season finale. A lot of stations do not seem to care about some of their viewers when they do something like this It makes you not want to watch that station as much as you were!!!!!

Disgusted!!' This show should have been on CBS. They have some really good shows and The Glades would be well received by not only all of us fans but an entirely new audience too. It is absolutely maddening to leave us hanging. I love the show and Matt Passmore and cast. No violence no profanity just great plots and greater acting. How can we fans present picking up this show to CBS????

Who makes these decisions to cancel great shows and keep really dumb shows on the tube? I was really looking forward to the next season! To leave all the avid viewers up in the air about how this series ends is just wrong.

How can they keep showing a stupid show like Duck Dynasty and cancel a great show like The Glades? I have never missed an episode and now it's cancelled. What's wrong with you people. Get your heads out of your butts.

I wasn't aware that one of my favorite shows, The Glades, had been cancelled. I was searching for when the new season would begin. What a SHOCKER to discover we are all left hanging. There are several shows I usually watch on A&E; guess I'll have to rethink that...maybe I'll just find something on another channel.

It just blows my mind that the networks continue stupid shows. Like big brothers, there's really to many to mention all of them. And a great show like the Glades gets cancelled. Y'all need to brains....

Please don't cancel this show atleast have one last season so is fans can find out who shot detective longworth please or atleast release a DVD of the final season so were not left in the dark
