A procedural drama following a Chicago detective who leaves his hometown and moves to Florida.
Jim Longworth is Chicago detective who was falsely accused of sleeping with his captains wife. Because of this, he takes a new job in South Florida with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement - hoping to find a more relaxing lifestyle. He soon discovers that things are more complicated than he thought.

I really do not understand why this show has been cancelled, there are plenty other useless shows that should have been axed before the Glades.

bunch of crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how about taking off one of those under watched crap shows that a and e are keeping.... you all need a better decision maker in office, 4 million people tune in to watch the Glades and it is cancelled but 4 million people tune in to see the duck dynasty season premier and you all bragged on the commercials about it ----- doesn't make any sense to me plus with such a cliff hanger think how many people will or would have watched season 5 premier...

Are you kidding??? I love this show and what a cliff hanger! This show always kept me interested. Bring the show back and get rid of the reality stuff or the Simpson's. Absolutely nothing worth watching there.

OMG.. they leave a major cliff hanger like that and they kill the show.. aww that is soo sad. i hope they try and wrap it up in the boxset like they did another tv show i was watching man that really makes me so sad.. aww hurtful a&e.. just hurtful.... give jim another chance..please?!?

Please don't leave us hanging like that! I had just discovered The Glades this year and got really hooked. Sometimes you have to give things a little more time to catch on. This is so unfair! Even my 10 yr old cried and threw a fit when I told her the horrible decision was made to cancel the series. She REALLY wants to know what happens to Jim and so do I. Please reconsider this abysmal decision.
