A procedural drama following a Chicago detective who leaves his hometown and moves to Florida.
Jim Longworth is Chicago detective who was falsely accused of sleeping with his captains wife. Because of this, he takes a new job in South Florida with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement - hoping to find a more relaxing lifestyle. He soon discovers that things are more complicated than he thought.

Love the show. Agree I'm a little tired of the Callie-aspect. She wants to be a doctor, great, have her own show. She's a distraction (and needs to learn to enunciate better - always sounds like she's mumbling).

Best show ever! Missing it already - Oh Jim where are you? Can't wait for more episodes! Can't wait for Season 3! I love the way they mix crime and romance - AWESOME - keep 'em coming!

Loved this show until it became a soap opera all about Jim and Callie instead of the crime show it started out to be. It became completely unrealistic, when suddenly Callie was in every scene, every issue, every thing that happened. Sorry, but she isn't the interesting aspect of this show. Get rid of the romance and make it what it started out to be; an interesting crime drama set in the everglades.
