A comedy following one man's mission to reclaim his manhood in a house dominated by women.
Mike Baxter is a man's man. He drives a pick-up truck and works as a marketing director for a sporting goods store. But while he may be the king of the hill at work, he's the odd man out at home.
The females dominate the household, namely his wife and their three daughters. And with Mike's wife returning to the workplace, he is now faced with handling even more of the parenting workload.

I just read that Fox is seriously considering taking the show. It's actually produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television, so it should be no problem for them to take it over to the Fox channel. I haven't watched it, but it sounds so good, I'm going to catch up on the series now streaming on Netflix.

How do you know it wasn't funny? I'm assuming your head isn't in the sand. I've never even seen it for a minute, but supposedly, the show had very high ratings. Is that because it wasn't funny to preoccupied you?
I came here to make a note for those who periodically berate others by claiming the decisions are made entirely by ratings so people are idiots to complain about shows getting cancelled.

What is ABC doing. Another good, Funny show gone. This was a good, family show. What crap will you be replacing it with? Less and less to watch on ABC

Funny seeing all the threats from the republicans because this stupid show got cancelled. It didn't get cancelled because of the political jokes against liberals. That's been the theme of his show the entire time. It got cancelled because it was not funny. Get over yourselves. Threatening to not watch ABC or tv anymore. That's rich.

This is the last show I was watching on ABC. I usually watch new shows based on ones that look interesting in commercials. Pretty dumb of ABC. They have so many bad show with little creativity. Now I won't even be trying any of their new shows on that network because I won't be seeing any previews. Hope another network is smart enough to pick it up. With their high ratings it will be a magnet for the public.

I with the rest... I only pay an outrageous cable bill for a few shows and this was one of them. Loved the humor (and Hector Elizondo) loved the political jabs. Timely humor. I'm am curios about the ratings. There was a show way back...the Smothers Brothers that bucked the system with political humor... they got the axe too... just faster. Now I cannot think of a single show on ABC I watch... time to let it go..... goodbye cable.... hello anything but getting attached to shows only to have them be cut.

These comments are so true. Last Man Standing was an incredible show that was funny and well written. It was the only ABC comedy show I could stand. If any comedy should have been cancelled, it should have been Modern Family, but I guess I don't fit that Hollywood mold.

ABC SUCKS..... They cancelled this show just because they made jokes about Obama. The show was funny... Shame On You ABC you are a joke anymore.
