A sci-fi drama depicting a time when all life on Earth is on the brink of extinction.

The year is 2149, and it is a time when all life on planet Earth is threatened with extinction. In an attempt to save the human race, scientists create a portal that allows people to time travel back 85 million years.

Groups of settlers travel across this 'temporal doorway' to a place called 'Terra Nova', which is the first human colony on the other side. However, unbeknownst to the settlers is the fact that their colony is in the midst of carnivorous dinosaurs.

What are they thinking?.. I'm 68 years old and I loved this show. It was a family show and it had something for all ages

I enjoy watching TV, but I won't stoop to the same level of others saying that I will stop watching FOX. I support The Science Channel since they show reruns of FireFly and I will support any other Network that will pick up Terra Nova. Family Guy and The Simpsons (both FOX)are perfect examples where poor ratings almost caused their cancellations and yet both have become culutural icons. Whenever a new program comes along, I always give it a try, but it is frustrating that the network never shows any kind of loyalty to the fans. What is the #1 show on FOX. Who knows! they never leave a program on long enough to develop a following. Give us a break

its amazing to me that time and time again you put on a show that has appeal for all age groups. an action show that tells a message and is still fun to watch. instead its one reality show after another that everyone has to share all their personal garbage.

TV is going backwards. It's a conspiracy, intelligence you!!!! Decent shows with original plots never last. I'm sick of getting hooked on a show only to have it cancelled.
We can no longer turn on the TV to be entertained unless we want to see the same old mindless drivel. If I see another reality show I'll chew off my own f#%*ing arm & throw the b#%*h @ the TV. Networks produce reality shows to maximize their profits. They cost much less to produce. When "stars " can't get work they turn to reality TV. If no one else is hiring them, what the He'll makes you think I'd be interested in their contrived lives? I'd rather eat cat s*+t with a knitting needle!!
The networks don't care about what I like so SCREW YOU TOO!!!

It never ceases to amaze me that who ever the program directors are for all the stations, they force you to watch the lame shows and cancel the good one? Time for a new Monkey!

Cancelling Terra Nova was a bad move by Fox. Sci Fi fans are very loyal. They should know this by now.

What's the matter with the networks. I loved this show. They barely gave it a chance.

Another decent sci-fi show bites the dust. The space will probably be filled with another contrived reality show for the mindless fools who still think professional wrestling is real. Time to stop watching FOX altogether! Let's all do that, shall we! NO MORE FOX! NO MORE FOX! NO MORE FOX!
