A drama where prisoners who mysteriously vanished from Alcatraz decades ago reappear in the present.
Rebecca is a San Francisco police detective who discovers that a fingerprint found on a homicide victim belongs to a former Alcatraz prisoner who died decades in the past.
When she runs into resistance looking into her discovery, Rebecca turns to an expert on Alcatraz prison to help her piece together the mystery that is slowly unraveling.
Their investigation reveals that the prisoner in question is actually still alive and loose on the streets of San Francisco. What's more, is that he may not be the only prisoner from Alcatraz to reappear in the present.

A great show.... The plots and twists were different and intriguing. I guess u are going to replace w/ a reality show.. OMG.

Awww Dang, another great show canceled. Please don't tell me you're going to do more reality TV. I don't watch any right now and you're not going to make me even if that's all that's on TV. I'll watch Movies and forget your Reality ****. We have to deal with reality during our lives. why do people want to watch other peoples stupid life dramas... geez...

Wow i couldn't believe that the show got cancelled. I was fascinated about the idea that the show would come out i saw every single episode now I think i hate Fox. Well even though I am the only 13 year old I know that saw this show I still think it was awesome. :( Alcatraz was one of the very few shows that are actually intresting these days!!!!!

Alcatraz was a truly entertaining show with legitimate plots and sub-plots. I was appauled to see it cancelled...even after they killed off the main character I wanted to see what was next.

Even people overseas (like me, living in Holland) are watching these great series. Every week waiting for the next one to be more exciting. They already cancelled The Chicago code and Human Target last year, which sucked. Now it's Alcatraz. Please Fox, also take a look abroad for your ratings before you decide to cancel. I HATE THIS !!

This show should never have been cancelled. Every show takes a while to get going and this was going great. I could not wait till the next week. I know this is the last season for Sons of Acharcy and this would have been a great replacement. Fox needs new management when it comes to selecting shows.

I wouldn't say that this was a riviting show but I did enjoy it and am dissappointed to see it being cancelled. Although I was dissappointed that they copied the chase scene from the classic 60's movie Bullitt in the last episode, sorry but there is no copying the magic of Steve McQueens driving.
