A drama where prisoners who mysteriously vanished from Alcatraz decades ago reappear in the present.
Rebecca is a San Francisco police detective who discovers that a fingerprint found on a homicide victim belongs to a former Alcatraz prisoner who died decades in the past.
When she runs into resistance looking into her discovery, Rebecca turns to an expert on Alcatraz prison to help her piece together the mystery that is slowly unraveling.
Their investigation reveals that the prisoner in question is actually still alive and loose on the streets of San Francisco. What's more, is that he may not be the only prisoner from Alcatraz to reappear in the present.

I still think about how cool this show was. It was very sad we never got a ending for it , like they are going to do with Timeless.

This show ENDS with the main protagonist in the hospital from a knife wound and the life support flat lining... ****** up fox ****** up...

Really you cancel another show. I am agreeing with a lot of people. Just going to watch my netflixs at least when they make a show,they finish the story line and dont leave us hanging.

YOU "EXECUTIVES" AT FOX HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE VIEWERS THAT SUPPORT THESE SHOWS! FORGET ABOUT THE FACT THAT YOU ARE COMPLETE AND TOTAL MORONS FOR CANCELLING ANY SHOW THAT'S EVEN REMOTELY ORIGINAL, BUT WHAT IS TRULY INSULTING IS THE FACT THAT YOU DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO HAVE A FINAL SHOW TO TELL US:
1) HOW WERE THESE PRISONERS GOING FORWARD IN TIME?;
2) WHO WAS BEHIND IT AND WHY?
3) HOW IS IT THAT THEY DIDN'T AGE
In other words, have SOME respect for the viewer and have a "wrap-up" show that answers these questions for the loyal viewers who were watching it every week! BUT YOU DIDN'T, WHICH ILLUSTRATES WHAT TOTAL A-HOLES YOU "SUITS" ARE! YOU SHOULD ALL BE FIRED!!!

Loved this show! I think the idiot execs who decided to cancel Alcatraz, are probably the same ones who got a job at ABC and decided to cancel my other favorite shows.
