A drama where prisoners who mysteriously vanished from Alcatraz decades ago reappear in the present.
Rebecca is a San Francisco police detective who discovers that a fingerprint found on a homicide victim belongs to a former Alcatraz prisoner who died decades in the past.
When she runs into resistance looking into her discovery, Rebecca turns to an expert on Alcatraz prison to help her piece together the mystery that is slowly unraveling.
Their investigation reveals that the prisoner in question is actually still alive and loose on the streets of San Francisco. What's more, is that he may not be the only prisoner from Alcatraz to reappear in the present.

I'm so tired of watching shows and like them and can't wait till next season. Then you find out those shows are canceled. I'm almost afraid to watch anything else and get hooked and you get rid of that. You need to take votes on shows before you cancel shows. Alcatraz is one of my favorites. Pleasekeep it!!!

I am in shock! This is 1 of my all time favorite shows. Just great, I watch every episode and it ends while the storyline is just getting started. This sucks!

It seems to me that the always cancel the smart shows. It is such a shame that because of DVR, they don't realize how many people watch this show.

The TV and Cable networks should allow one or two shows to air after the decision for cancelation is made to afford the invested viewers some type of resolution of the plot. Too many times the networks take us the viewers for granted. This will be the demise of the future of television; more viewers prefer to waited for the show to air for a season and then view it via stream video or download and without commercials.

What the hell is wrong with FOX? They are getting rid of some of the best shows they had. They should get rid some of the shows that they have now. Even the some that actually do suck. No one else really cares about reality tv. :/

first of all, yes it is a great show and it sucks that it was cancelled, but the ratings on the show were not good enough. this is because people pirate it, or watch in online, or record it and i dont think they factor all of those people into the rating system.
