A drama where prisoners who mysteriously vanished from Alcatraz decades ago reappear in the present.
Rebecca is a San Francisco police detective who discovers that a fingerprint found on a homicide victim belongs to a former Alcatraz prisoner who died decades in the past.
When she runs into resistance looking into her discovery, Rebecca turns to an expert on Alcatraz prison to help her piece together the mystery that is slowly unraveling.
Their investigation reveals that the prisoner in question is actually still alive and loose on the streets of San Francisco. What's more, is that he may not be the only prisoner from Alcatraz to reappear in the present.

of course it was cancelled. It was the SAME thing every episode. after the first 4 or 5 episodes there was just no point in watching more of it.

Unfreakingbelievable!! Fox tv execs need their heads examined. We don't need any more reality junk but we do need shows like Alcatraz to keep us entertained and watching!

Wtf! I had no idea they canceled this show. I seriously liked it but would like answers about how it ends. At least continue filming the show and release it to DVD I'd definitely buy it. What a shame.
