Are you people crazy?????!!!!!! One of the best period dramas I've seen. Why would this be cancelled? I've been looking at my calendar wondering what date it would be returning. I mean it's not like BBC America has a lot of original programming! There are mostly reruns of Star Trek and Dr. Who (sorry, not a fan) & GOD forbid Gordon Ramsey. They only have a hand full of original shows.Plus the acting alone was fantastic, Emmy worthy! It's too bad the academy doesn't recognize non premium cable shows often (Breaking Bad is the exception). Seriously needs to be reconsidered!!!!!!!

I am so disappointed! Just discovered Copper is cancelled. What a brilliant show; the complicated history of New York; old money; Irish immigrants; Tammany Hall; African American life, beautifully portrayed by great actors. Attention to the details of NYC life in the 1860's was amazing. I hope it will un-cancel or be picked up by another discerning network. Please!!!

That sucks! Copper was one of my favorite show, and the only show worth watching on BBC!

This was a great show at the start and I suspect someone interfered with the script writers as it seem to lose tempo and direction. I really enjoyed the the time period and actors...

A real highlight on the BBC America network and it's gone?! Apparently these network execs are also too busy snorting "coke" in the exec washrooms to run decent programming just like NBC and ABC

This is such a shame. This was one of my favorite shows, along with Ripper Street, which was also cancelled.
